Vaxine Pty Ltd

ACT Health commercialised a vaccine patent via the gifting of the patent to Associate Professor Nicolai Petrovsky and The National Health Sciences Centre Limited. These two parties successfully commercialised the patent.

A new company, Vaxine Pty Ltd was formed, and raised significant development funds, and developed further patents to strengthen the original patent space, around a new vaccine adjuvant.

The South Australian government enticed Vaxine Pty Ltd to re-locate to Adelaide and it did so in 2007. The National Health Sciences Centre Limited is a shareholder in the company, but to date no share dividends have been returned since the company is not trading. It is still developing its product line, and thus no sales have been made.
